Forklift Training

We at the Forklift Centre can help you ensure you meet these legal obligations.

Training courses arranged by the Forklift Centre:

Novice Operator	Reach, Counterbalance and Specialist Truck	4 Days
Experienced Operator	Reach, Counterbalance and Specialist Truck	2 Days
Re-assessment	Reach, Counterbalance and Specialist Truck	1 Day

To ensure maximum interaction, no more than 4 operators attend each course. Lunch is provided. Safety footwear must be worn by candidates.

All courses involve assessment of the operator and successful completion of the assessments will result in the issue of the Certificate of Competence in accordance with ACOP for forklift training as recommended by the HSA.

We can also arrange training on your own premises for the following truck types with our accredited training partners:

Reach Trucks	Powered Pedestrian Trucks & Stackers	Pivot Steer (Articulated) Trucks
Counterbalance Trucks	All types of Narrow Aisle & Order Picker Trucks	Mobile Elevated Platforms (MEWP)

Other Courses Offered - available in conjunction with the Forklift Centre or on your premises:

Manual Handling	Half day course. Maximum of 12 candidates
Forklift Safety Course	Half day course for those who work alongside forklift trucks and who need to be aware of the risks involved. Maximum 10 candidates.
Supervisors Course	Full day course for supervisors to make them aware of their responsibilities and the rules for the safe operation of a forklift truck. Maximum 10 candidates.

At The Forklift Centre we can arrange a full service for all your forklift training requirements. Our recommended training instructors have many years experience and will be able to advise you on all aspects of forklift safety. Site visits can be arranged.
